Listen to the other person. Try to see both sides, try to hear the other person. Try to understand where they are coming from. Your thoughts, opinions, and feelings matter, but do try to soften into accepting how others feel. Soften a little, accept that there is another perspective, and both opinions can be valid. Soften enough to see things from both sides.

Lean in. Lean in and accept help. If you are being offered help, accept it. It is OK to accept support when you need it.

Are you worrying about the wrong things? You have just so many hours in the day, are you focusing and worrying about the wrong things. Decide what is truly important in your day, decide how you spend your precious time and what dominates your thoughts. You get to choose what you worry about, and most things aren’t worth the energy.

It just is. Life becomes easier when you accept a situation for what it is. It isn’t bad, and it isn’t good, it just is. Your judgement of the situation, whether it is bad or whether it is good, is what gives it the energy. Sometimes, things just are.

Press the reset button. If it feels wrong, press the reset button, if you want a change, press the reset button. Don’t continue down a path that isn’t working for you. Reset, restart, change your mind, course correct. Life is about making changes and the redirections along the way.

Be excited. Get excited, try to enjoy your week, carve out a bit of fun. Connect with yourself, connect with others, walk in nature, feel life around you and engage in life. Bring the energy of excitement to your week.
